I’ve been using Mileage Plus for a while now, it’s been worth it for me. I fly United often enough that the miles have added up faster than I thought they would, especially when I’ve caught a few partner deals here and there. Booking rewards can be a little annoying sometimes, but overall I still feel like I’m getting decent value out of the money I’m already spending. The site is easy enough to use too. Weirdly, I still remember being half-asleep in an airport once, eating a banana that tasted like cardboard, and realizing I had enough miles for my next trip. So yeah, not perfect, but I’ve been happy with it.

The surcharges was fair, honestly. I didn’t get any weird surprise charges, so that was nice.

I linked my credit card and, to be fair, the miles did show up quickly. But the whole process felt way more annoying than it needed to be, and I blame them for making something so simple feel like a hassle

I’ve had MileagePlus elite status for a while now, some of the perks are genuinely nice. Free checked bags, earlier boarding, and the random upgrade here and there definitely make travel a little easier, especially when I’m already feeling mentally drained from planning flights and dealing with airports. I also like that the website makes it simple to see where I’m at with status progress.
That said, upgrades don’t come through as often as they used to, at least in my experience. Some of the benefits also seem a lot more useful if you’re constantly flying on paid tickets, which isn’t always realistic for me. It’s not a bad program, and I still appreciate the perks, but it doesn’t always feel as rewarding as I hoped it would

The earning rates are solid, and the miles started stacking up fast, well, faster than I expected, honestly. It’s been a nice little bonus

I used mileageplus.com to book a flight with miles, and it was straightforward. I found the dates I needed, picked the flight, and the whole process was clear enough that I didn’t feel like I was clicking around forever.

I also liked that it showed the miles and fees before I got to the final page, so there wasn’t some weird surprise at the end. Took maybe 10 minutes total, and something about it felt easier than I expected. I’d use it again

I mostly use mileageplus.com just to check my miles or see trip details, and for whatever reason the login part is where I run into issues. Sometimes it tells me my password is wrong even though I’m sure it isn’t, and other times the page just kind of sits there loading. Not really sure what triggers it, but once I’m actually signed in, the site is usually fine. I just wish getting in was more consistent...

I mainly use mileageplus because I’m always kinda hoping for an upgrade, but it’s been mixed for me.
Some trips I do get cleared and yeah, it feels awesome when it happens. But there’s plenty times where the upgrade list is super long and I’m not even close, even with status. On busy routes it feels like status don’t always get you that far.

The website is fine enough for checking stuff, but I wish upgrade availability was easier to understand. It’s not awful or anything, I just don’t really count on getting upgraded anymore

I’ve tried booking award seats a few times now, it’s hit or miss. Some dates show availability, but most dates don’t. I keep checking different days, and it’s the same thing over and over, a few options here and there, but mostly nothing useful. It gets frustrating when you think you found a good deal, then the dates you actually need just aren’t available.

Most of the time it is close enough , but this time the miles did not seem to post quite right . Not a huge deal , just something I noticed

I even got my miles back faster than expected, which was a nice surprise since I was fully prepared for the usual runaround. No huge hassle this time, so credit where it’s due, I’m happy with how it worked out

The bonus mile promos have been great!!! Those extra miles really helped me out, and it felt like a nice little perk for something I was already doing!!
